Everything was perfect. Refined and daring cuisine served under the trees on a beautiful, sheltered terrace. Welcoming, friendly, and attentive staff. A truly wonderful discovery. Bravo and thank you so much to the entire team. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

A superb evening enjoying a superb meal on the terrace of this establishment, which we first discovered about fifteen years ago and which has charmed us year after year with its consistency, the honesty and precision of its cuisine, its service, and its warm welcome. A rare find, just a stone's throw from Mulhouse's rather limited culinary scene.

We stayed one night in May 2026 at the Mathis family's place in Hochstatt near the Cheval Blanc, and we would definitely recommend this accommodation. We received a very warm welcome with a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival. The restaurant is closed on Monday evenings, but Mr. Mathis still prepared a meal for us, which we were able to warm up in the oven in the kitchen. Everything tasted delicious! The breakfast the next morning was also exceptionally plentiful and good!

An exceptional experience. The dishes are delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors, and the presentation is simply impeccable. Visually, each plate is a true feast for the eyes. You can feel the care and passion. Flawless from start to finish, I recommend it without hesitation.

A wonderful Friday evening where everything was perfect. From the warm, professional, and elegant welcome and service, to the delicious food and perfectly paired wines, all in a refined setting. We were charmed and delighted to see that such establishments still exist, where the owners are dedicated to making our visit an unforgettable experience.
