Great sandwich, delicious, clean restrooms, friendly and smiling staff. Fantastic terrace.

You arrive, you go to the restroom, no toilet paper 😞. You wait in line in front of the croissants, and when it's your turn, you place your order and they tell you it's at the end for dine-in... At what point does it say cashier or dine-in line, cashier or takeaway line? You're already pressed for time, given your job, you try to grab a snack and plan your lunch because it's often packed at this time of day, and bam! Disgusted, you leave empty-handed because there's no time to go through that other line again. Another time, I stopped to order a burger, and they told me it wasn't time. It was 11:40. When you're a taxi driver, you don't have set mealtimes; you take the time if you have it and when you can, but oh well. No more chickens.

Where to begin: Astronomical prices, staff who don't know how to indicate prices correctly, and the quality of the food leaves much to be desired... For example, I ordered a Bretz burger with fries, and they quoted me €12.90. You can imagine my surprise when I was charged an extra €3.90 for fries! Furthermore, I ordered a braised cordon bleu, which arrived burnt. I asked for the meat in the Bretz burger to be cooked rare, and it was also disappointing to find it was overcooked. There was far too much sauce, as if that weren't enough... This place is best avoided.

Thursday, July 2, 2026. Terrible and incompetent staff. The chocolate éclair was rock hard and dry, and the €5.50 salmon sandwich unfortunately contained no salmon… unacceptable for that price. Very slow service. Needs serious improvement…

The organization is catastrophic. A problem with training and management, no doubt.

€2.80 for a small bottle of punch (50 cl) – how can they justify that price? And served without a smile.

I am a regular customer of your establishments, particularly in Rixheim/Habsheim, where the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are always pleasant and smiling. A few days ago, I was in Illzach, near Norauto. As usual, I ordered tea and a pastry for breakfast. Each time, I ask for tea with double the amount of water, meaning two cups of hot water. To my great surprise, the person serving me explained that that much water wouldn't fit in one cup 🙃🙃. I politely explained that I would like two cups, because, yes, it's impossible to fit that much water in a single cup. Her response, because I think the lady was offended, was, "Well then, I'll charge you for two teas." I explained that I would only pay a third and that the reason I wanted two cups of hot water was because you didn't have any tea. To which she replied, "Oh well, I don't know, I'm not a tea expert." In conclusion, I think you need to train some of your staff a bit better and not rest on your laurels.

Plenty of choice, great taste, top-notch.
