Do not book this restaurant in the Summer. They close the main restaurant but don't tell you that when you reserve. They operate a casual garden location elsewhere in the city but it is not clear anywhere in the web presence.

Very casual food in a casual setting, using park benches and tables.

If you want to ruin an important day, Michel's table is the perfect place. A reservation for two adults, including a woman of a certain age, and a baby: I was in full sun, the waiter was unpleasant, my baby was placed among the plants, and my mother was in partial shade—all of this, of course, at a balcony table.

A very warm welcome from Michèle and her daughter in an intimate setting. The family takes excellent care of their guests, offering delicious amuse-bouches to tide you over until the main course, which is served promptly. The high-quality dishes are served in more than generous portions, and you won't leave feeling hungry, a feeling sometimes associated with certain restaurants serving "nouvelle cuisine." Not here: this is traditional cuisine, yet refined, enhanced by subtle modern touches. The only drawback is the slightly above-average prices. Expect to pay around €50 per person for a meal including a starter, main course, wine, and coffee, all à la carte, but honestly, you can skip the starter unless you have a huge appetite... Update May 2026: The restaurant has just opened its garden side, in the form of an open space in a small park along the canal, behind the Museum of Printed Textiles. Light meals and pleasant aperitifs are on the menu, all in a relatively cool setting thanks to its proximity to the water. A little something extra for Mulhouse.

I can definitely recommend this restaurant. We reserved a table for 7:00 pm, so ordering and drinks arrived relatively quickly. The service was very attentive, efficient, and friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. 👍 Thank you for a lovely evening!

Excellent restaurant off the main tourist route. 14 min walk from the train station. Great decor, tables were set mainly for two or four. Recommend to book online in advance as guests were queuing even on a week day.

Discovered at Michèle Brouet's restaurant, a place where gastronomy is expressed with precision and finesse. A renowned establishment, even featured in the Michelin Guide. The pairings are masterful, and each dish is prepared with great finesse, offering a culinary experience that is both indulgent and surprising. The plates, as elegant as they are meticulously presented, whet the appetite at first glance and promise a truly delightful tasting experience. The value for money remains consistent with the quality of the work and the excellence of the dishes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, enhanced by a unique decor composed of eclectic objects, giving the place a distinct identity. The service is welcoming, professional, and attentive, perfectly complementing the experience. Rating: 🍽️ Taste: 10/10 💶 Value for money: 8/10 🥳 Atmosphere: 9/10 💁🏼‍♀️ Service: 9/10 ⭐ Overall rating: 9/10

A very enjoyable experience at this restaurant. Attentive and professional service. A warm atmosphere and delicious cuisine. A wonderful discovery: the tuna tartare with its umami flavors, a perfectly cooked veal chop, and a thoughtfully prepared dessert.

On paper, it's a very good restaurant, with Michelin and Gault & Millau accolades that set the price and expectations. We had a reservation for 12:30. The dining room was almost full; some people arrived a good 10 minutes after us, and their orders were taken while we waited, having decided to order the set menu (starter and main course), a glass of white wine with the main course, and dessert from the à la carte menu. The aperitif arrived quickly, as did the starter and the white wine. The quality was excellent. But it was dragging on. At 1:40 PM, there was no main course, a 45-minute wait with nearby tables talking loudly in a low-ceilinged area, which quickly became deafening. While the table next to us (the one that arrived after us) was finishing their main course, I went to see the waiter, asked if this was normal, and he dodged the question in a borderline passive-aggressive manner. He had just brought the main course (a fish and vegetable puff pastry) and told me I was served without any further questions. The white wine, after a 45-minute wait, was lukewarm, and the main course was a puff pastry baguette, three pieces of fish swimming in sauce with a few vegetables, and nothing else. It was that or nothing, so needless to say, I left the table hungry, my head full of my neighbors' conversations, and a complimentary espresso as an apology. For a restaurant celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary... Meh. I rarely don't recommend a place, and I've often given it the benefit of the doubt by returning a second time. But this time, there were too many negative points.

This restaurant is a Mulhouse institution. I waited many years before finally deciding to go in, but what a wonderful discovery! The decor is quite incredible and doesn't really match the masterful and precise execution of the dishes. From appetizer to dessert, each course is a work of art and a culinary delight. My only slight reservation concerns the chocolate dessert, the final layer of which was overpowering with baking powder. But everything else was an explosion of flavors. I highly recommend this place.
